NEXT GRADE TCG
PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: 31 August 2026
Next Grade TCG ("Next Grade TCG", "we", "us" or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal information that we collect and process.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored and protected when you use the Next Grade TCG website, mobile application and associated services.
1. Information We May Collect
Depending on the services you use, we may process information including:
Name and contact information
Account and authentication information
Trading-card inventory, grading and transaction information
Photographs and scans of trading cards
Purchase, sale, expense and business transaction information
Information obtained through services you choose to connect, such as eBay or supported financial services
Device, application and diagnostic information necessary to operate and secure the service
2. eBay Account Information
Next Grade TCG may allow users to connect an eBay account using eBay's official OAuth authorisation system.
When you connect an eBay account, you are redirected to eBay to sign in and grant specific permissions. Next Grade TCG does not receive or store your eBay password.
Subject to the permissions you grant, we may access eBay information required to provide features you request, such as seller/account information, listings, inventory, orders, fulfilment information and other authorised marketplace information.
Ebay access credentials and refresh tokens are handled by our secure backend and are not intended to be stored directly within the mobile application.
Information obtained from eBay will only be used to provide and maintain Next Grade TCG functionality, comply with applicable requirements and protect the security of the service.
You may revoke Next Grade TCG's access to your eBay account through eBay where supported.
3. Card Images and Grading Information
Next Grade TCG may process photographs, scans and inspection data relating to trading cards.
These may be used for inventory management, card identification, centering measurements, condition assessment, grading estimates, restoration records and preparation of marketplace listings.
Automated grading or condition assessments provided by Next Grade TCG are estimates and are not official grades issued by third-party grading companies.
4. Financial Information
Where financial-account connectivity is offered, Next Grade TCG may use authorised third-party providers to obtain information you explicitly permit us to access.
We do not request that users provide online-banking passwords directly to Next Grade TCG.
Financial information may be processed to provide features such as transaction reconciliation, business balances, expense tracking, budgeting and profitability calculations.
5. How We Use Information
We process information where necessary to provide requested services, operate and secure the platform, maintain user accounts, synchronise inventory and transactions, provide grading and valuation tools, integrate authorised third-party services, troubleshoot problems and comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not sell users' personal information.
6. Third-Party Services
Next Grade TCG may integrate with third-party services where necessary to provide particular functionality. These may include eBay, Firebase/Google services, payment providers, authorised financial-data providers, shipping providers and trading-card data providers.
Information shared with or obtained from these services may also be governed by the respective provider's privacy policy and terms.
We aim to request only the permissions reasonably necessary to provide the functionality selected by the user.
7. Data Storage and Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or loss.
Sensitive integration credentials are intended to be stored within secured backend systems rather than embedded within the Next Grade TCG mobile application.
No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Data Retention
Personal information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, to provide requested services, maintain legitimate business records and satisfy legal or regulatory obligations.
Where appropriate, information may be deleted or anonymised when it is no longer required.
9. Your Rights
Depending on applicable law, including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability and to object to certain processing.
Where processing is based on consent, you may also have the right to withdraw that consent.
Requests can be made using the contact details below.
10. Account and Data Deletion
Users may request deletion of their Next Grade TCG account and associated personal information by contacting us.
Where information must be retained for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention or regulatory purposes, it may be retained only for the required period.
Disconnecting a third-party account may prevent further collection from that provider but may not automatically delete information legitimately obtained before disconnection.
11. Children's Privacy
Next Grade TCG is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children where parental consent or another lawful basis would be required.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Next Grade TCG develops or when legal, regulatory or service requirements change.
The latest version will be published on this page together with its revision date.
